Beta Testing Application

Welcome to the beta testing programme! In this post, you'll find information about how you can obtain access to the server before its full release. Keep in mind that the server is still in early development, so a lot of the features found in Yurei-Jima RP may not be as stable as expected. Therefore, your responsibility will be to inform us of your findings and suggest new features to be added to the server!

Beta Testing applications are CLOSED.​

We will re-open them once we require more players to test out our new features. Moreover, if you have a skill that could potentially benefit our team, check out our Community Team Applications. Accepted CT members get to join the server without applying to be beta testers!​

Guidelines

While we'd like to accept everyone to enjoy the server's content, it is inevitable to acknowledge that we must restrict the server's playerbase to prevent chaos and unnecessary mishaps. Therefore, the criteria that we will use to review beta tester applications is the following:

• Reputation. The staff team will share their thoughts on you, as an applicant, as well as the benefits/risk of bringing you onto the team. This should only negatively affect your chances of acceptance if you are known to cause issues within group work or if you've reportedly been unnecessarily reactive or uncooperative with other people within the team.
• Application. As for the application, we will generally look for applicants who can positively contribute to the server's future. While we appreciate your enthusiasm to become a beta tester to explore the map and be delighted with our progress, we will always choose people who are willing to help out by reporting bugs, making interesting suggestions and helping other players with common queries.
• Limited Roster. As stated earlier, we would rather accept a small amount of applicants to make sure we keep everything under control and to avoid overwhelming the staff team. However, as time goes on, we will gradually open our roster to more and more testers, so if your application was denied, maybe you can give it another shot next time!
• Format. When applying, the format will be automatically applied when clicking the [New Thread] button. However, you can always modify the style, fonts and alignment as long as you do not skip or modify any of the already-existing questions listed below.

Acknowledgements
By submitting this application, I consent to the following terms:

• I will not abuse, hide, or lie about any bugs or unintended features that I find on the server. In such case, I will report it via Discord/Forums channels.
• I understand that any content found on the server is, by default, public and shareable. Nonetheless, I will not share any contents that have been explicitly marked as "private" or "not available for public".
• I will be active as a beta tester, periodically logging on and getting pre-release updates on the server while also researching which aspects of the server could be improved.
• I will follow all rules stated in the rulebook and follow the staff team's instructions when necessary for the safety of the server.
• I may change the style of this thread to improve its readability, but I will not change or skip any questions found in the format.
