This document is provided to applicants for information regarding the faction as a whole, application process and any other necessary information for the Hospital Faction. If you seek assistance in regards to your applications or any of the questions given to you, feel free to reach out to the Director or Co-Director. We cannot answer the questions for you, however we can help you understand what is being asked. Additionally you can always submit any queries you have in the support channels provided in the discord servers or for more private matters use the /ticket system.
NOROWAREJIMA HOSPITAL INFORMATION
Are you interested in being apart of the lifeline of Yurei Jima? Do you want your character to make a difference? Well, look no further as Norowarejima Emergency Hospital, is now accepting applications for new medical interns to join our amazing team! As a hospital worker, you'll be part of a vital, immersive roleplay experience, working alongside other medical professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the chance for your character to really make an impact on the community and the players, whether it be from the interactions you have with patients or their family and friends. It is up to you on what story you write, the scalpel is in your hands now!
Upon acceptance into the faction, you will start your character will start their journey as an intern. They will be given a detailed introduction alongside their equipment and a tour of the hospital, followed by this will be two to three weeks of training to introduce and prepare your characters for the medical procedures and interactions they will be facing during their time at the hospital. Throughout this training period, it is expected that they become acquainted with Hospital Director and Co-Director along with their Higher-Ups and well acquainted with their co-workers and fellow interns. After training, an examination process will be undertaken, this will determine not only if you stay in the faction or not but what your main department will be. Based on your exam results, you will be given a preferred department that suits your character (depending on how full each branch is at the time, you still have a choice on where your character goes. This is just a recommendation based off your skills shown in the exams). Later down the line as you progress through roles, you will have the opportunity to be trained in special qualifications such as paramedicine, veterinarian work and even autopsy work. Giving your character the chance to have more detailed interactions and work alongside other factions while you do so!
Regardless of what department you are in, each worker is expected to complete a minimum of 30 quota points per month which will result in a monthly pay of ยฅ650,000, for additional points past that you will gain an extra ยฅ5,000 per 5 points, being capped at a final 50 quota points and a resulting pay of ยฅ670,000. Quota points should be easy to gain as this will be a very active and in-demand job for players. Alongside quota points, workers can go above and beyond to earn achievement points which can be used to acquire extra pay, custom EMS items, extra off-duty time and much more!

Additional roles such as Veterinarian, Paramedic and Pathologist can be obtained by further training upon request, these however will have no individual department and will merely only be seen as another qualification for your character.
RULES AND GUIDELINES
1. Applications must be your own work and not be plagiarised or include traces of AI generated text. Your work must be your own, stealing other applicants/players work, getting other players to write it for you or copy and pasting from offical sources is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate denial of your application and further action such as blacklisting from the faction and other applications may be taken. AI generated applications will be immediately denied as well with the same consequences. All applications will be scanned upon review dates.2. Applications must follow the appropriate formats. All applications should follow the provided formats and be written in black text, with the questions bolded (the answers are not to be bolded however, so it is easy to read). Although there are minor exceptions to the formats such as image headers for customisation, please be mindful to not overuse and take away from the actual application. Avoid using bright and excessive colours.
3. Applicants must have a reasonable reputation. Severe punishments, ban history and overall community reputation will have a significant sway on the result of your application. The Hospital Director and Co-Director will be judging your reputation and take in account all factors regarding any history but more specifically recent history, however your entire record will still be counted for.
4. Applicants need to have and maintain a constant activity within the server. applicants whose accounts have been inactive for more than 10 days will be instantly denied upon review, alternate accounts are included in this too. We require our members to be as active as possible.
5. Applications must have an appropriate title. The title should look like ' [USER] | Hospital Application ', if you need to resubmit your application or no longer wish to apply, please clearly state it in your title such as adding REMOVE.
6. Applications must be written in a serious manner. All joke/troll applications will be denied instantly, resulting in a temporary blacklist from applying to not only the hospital faction but others included.
7. Applicants are expected to have a basic understanding of the server. It is recommended and highly encouraged that you know and understand not only the YRP rules but also familiarise yourself with the hospital rules and guidelines. Alongside this, that you also can navigate yourself around the server. It is likely that if you don't, you will be denied and given more time to learn before you can re-apply.
8. Medical knowledge is not required. You don't need to have prior medical understanding or any background in medicine to apply for this role. It is encouraged that you research your preferred role to prepare yourself, however it is not necessary.
9. Your character is required to be at least be 25 to be considered. Any character under this age will be denied, we strive to keep a high sense of realism and this is simply just one of those factors.
10. Do not pester staff or other faction members about the result of your application. All applications undergo a rigorous process upon review and many factors are taken into account. If you have a problem with the outcome of your application or believe that it was unfair please bring it up with the faction lead via the ticket system.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Certain exceptions such as events like 'malpractice' and 'corruption' are discouraged, however can be done with approval from the hospital lead and all involved parties.
4. Can I ask for help with my application? Yes, you may ask for help. However to reiterate things, we will not answer the questions for you nor will we lead you to the answers. What we can do is clarify questions or help with general queries on the application process.
5. Can my character date within the faction? Faction relationships are allowed, however are heavily discouraged. Please be mindful of how the relationship is formed and keep it as realistic as possible. This includes dating your superiors or the other way around, realistically if this was found out your characters would be given IC punishments.
